Summary:

The Northern Gulf Institute (NGI), is a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Cooperative Institute, a partnership of six complementary academic institutions. Mississippi State University(MSU) leads this collaboration, partnering with the University of Southern Mississippi, Louisiana State University, Florida State University, Alabama’s Dauphin Island Sea Lab, the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

 

The Northern Gulf Institute, located in the MSU Science and Technology Center at Stennis Space Center, was contracted by the Gulf of Mexico Alliance to manage the GoMRI Research Information System and provide assistance with project management and outreach activities.
